It close to noon this Friday and I am chewing on some dead skin. Ananth’s in Madras doing a score for a film while Sachin, Snehal and I attend to our nine-to-fives in Bangalore.

The week saw us writing two new songs. One of them is called ‘Spliffs and Butts’, I wrote this song when I was at my girlfriend’s in Madras. She was doing her research work and I was zoned out on her balcony looking into the sea meeting the horizon and when you stare real hard your pupil and the rest of the optical mechanism starts to see things. Sweating profusely I wrote the song that Friday evening. Originally titled Spliffs and Buttons, I decided to drop Buttons, too much of an insinuation.  We’ll be letting this tune loose at L’Alliance Francaise de Bangalore on the 14th of June.

The other one called is called ‘Plastic Living’ and means exactly that. The song being worked out, and as far as it is at the moment sounds quite crazy.

Nothing else to write home about.

Hope to see you all at the gig on the 14th of June.

‘til then – Godspeed.
